2-6 NOV, 2009

"Fall for Books."

STOP BY THE BOOK FAIRS IN THE ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL LMC'S THIS WEEK!

This week I am in the West Hancock district on Monday and Wednesday. Next week I will be in the district on Tuesday and Thursday.

2-NOV [Day 5]
K-Geelan: We will listen to 2 stories written in rhyme: A Frog in the Bog by Karma Wilson and Rhyming Dust Bunnies by Jan Thomas. We will finish our activity by learning a rhyme about an elephant and choosing a hat for him/her.
2-Glawe: We will review the parts of a book for fiction and nonfiction books. We will listen to In November by Cynthia Rylant.

4-NOV [Day1]
3-Zuehl: We will use the computer lab to look up various educational sites, such as ones sponsored by the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institute, and Internet Public Library.

There are many ways to enlarge your child's world.
Love of books is the best of all.
